They are extremely slow to replace a worn out appliance or house system. We are in our 80s and have been without heat for a week while they order a part for our 21 year old furnace! Our refrigerator broke down many times with us losing hundreds of dollars of unthawed items and only replaced it after many phone calls and much pressure to do so! We are looking for a different provider.

We placed a service request with Old Republic for a kitchen valve issue on October 9, 2025. We were assured that the designated plumber would be assigned and dispatched to this request. My experience with Old Republic has been incredibly frustrating. Short story is that my refrigerator has been broken for 21 days because ORHP is sloppy and doesn't follow up with the companies they contract out to.I'm really unhappy with them right now because they failed to tell me that I needed to call ** and get a new compressor for my refrigerator sent to the repair company. Old Republic denied my claim and explained to me why. They said the technician who came out(all he did was look and didnt try anything but looked and said okay then walked out) said its preexisting.
