They are extremely slow to replace a worn out appliance or house system. We are in our 80s and have been without heat for a week while they order a part for our 21 year old furnace! Our refrigerator broke down many times with us losing hundreds of dollars of unthawed items and only replaced it after many phone calls and much pressure to do so! We are looking for a different provider.

I had horrible experience from I ******** . ***** the plumber is dishonest, lier . He submitted incorrect reports. It cost me lots of time and headaches dealing with this issue. We placed a service request with Old Republic for a kitchen valve issue on October 9, 2025. We were assured that the designated plumber would be assigned and dispatched to this request. Once again, epic failure on the part of Old Republic. No contact from the service provider requiring me to engage my own contractor. My experience with Old Republic has been incredibly frustrating. My air conditioner stopped working, and although its fully covered under my home warranty, Old Republic has spent more time trying to avoid paying for the repair than actually helping me.The first ********** they sent spent less than 20 minutes at my home, said there was a leak but he couldn't find it, added refrigerant and left. Short story is that my refrigerator has been broken for 21 days because ORHP is sloppy and doesn't follow up with the companies they contract out to.I'm really unhappy with them right now because they failed to tell me that I needed to call ** and get a new compressor for my refrigerator sent to the repair company. I was a policyholder with Old Republic Home Protection for one year and submitted five claims during that time. Old Republic denied my claim and explained to me why. They said the technician who came out(all he did was look and didnt try anything but looked and said okay then walked out) said its preexisting. I got the home a week prior and when I finally got a washing machine in the home and hooked up, the sediment from sitting too long starting coming up in my sink drain.
