Was approved for heart pump repair during 100+ degree weather. Was told it shouldn't take longer than 7 to 10 business days before the party would even be here to set up repair. Jump to almost a month later and was told that my contractor still had not received my part. Called old republic. On hold for 2 hours 14 minutes before someone pick up. Too bad I couldnt give this a zero. I was a customer with them for over 7 years. At first it was great however my latest instance was the last stray. Water heater pilot went out and they sent a guy in a 2000 civic ripped jeans dirty t shirt to my house. He didnt even speak English and called his team and placed me on speaker with them. I refused the service but they charged me a service fee because this guy showed up. Call ORHP back to asked if I could just use a separate person and YES was the answer. Our air conditioning unit failed during near 100 degree heat, Old Republic sent a HVAC technician out the next day and the repair was approved and the purchase order submitted by Old Republic. Since that time, we have received so many different story lines. It's now been 2 weeks since the repair was approved and we were told the part hasn't shipped. 2 weeks with our family home over 80 degrees inside while we keep being told "3-5 days" over and over. This company is extremely slow with their paperwork! Specifically, the purchasing department. I have been waiting since June, for a hard copy to be sent over to the department store to get my air conditioner fixed, it is now the end of August.

I opened a service request for my refrigerator. Technician came and just by looking at refrigerator he said he dont work on ** newer refrigerators and he left in less than 2 mins. Then I called ORHP and they said they will transfer to some another tech company on 1-2 days. Next day my refrigerator started working automatically. So i called and cancelled my service request. Absolutely no help. I've been without water for 3 days because of a broken pipe, and they refused my claim. It shouldn't matter how the pipe was broken, it's broken and I have no water coming to my house because of it. This is just ridiculous. What good is the home warranty if they're going to refuse claims. I am so outraged right now

Same - if I could review with zero stars, thats what this would be. They will find any reason to deny your claim and youll be paying for it on your own In the end anyway. Either save your money or find a reputable home warranty company. These guys are shisters just like their contractor base.

Our overall experience would be rated at zero stars, if it was possible. My fiance and I would not recommend Old Republic. We will allow for the quantifiable data to speak for itself. It took 21 days from the initial service call to the installation of our HVAC system. At 3 different points in the process Old Republic notified us that our system was set to be or was delivered forcing us to take days off of work and utilizing our contractors time when it was indeed, not available.
