This will be Old Republics 7th attempt to fix our refrigerator. The second vendor was returning today with a call time of between 9 am and noon. No one has shown up yet. The first appointment the vendor said there was no problem. I had to prove to him that the refrigerator wasn't cooling using several different thermometers. The first vendor ordered a cooling fan which took over a week to get. The vendor returned a second time, installed the cooling fan and no luck. He then decided to try replacing the digital readout. Started with dishwasher issue at rental property. Tried to *************** online, but not category for dishwasher (?). Had to call. *********. They don't want you to call, but cannot communicate with them otherwise. Had to navigate annoying phone system and 20 minutes later, got to a live body. Explained situation, gave them tenant's phone number for contact. Technician went to property, tenant called me a day later and said the technician told her the unit needed a new control panel. According to their own BBB stats, they get a formal complaint every 36 hours and thats only counting the people who actually bothered to file. Imagine the chaos from the ones who didnt. Dont just pass run. Save your money.

I have recently become a customer of **********************. I was very excited about being a customer. My excitement quickly turn into a nightmare and headache on 12/15/2025. My refrigerator has went out and they agreed to replace it , they said it would take 17 days for the company to send it . I explained to them that I have medication that needs to be refrigerated. I have had Old Republic for years and had outstanding service until December 22, 2025. I called to have my microwave oven repaired. They charged me the fee before the work was even completed? Never asked if the repair was completed. I called and was put on hold for 40 minutes after being passed around from one representative to another. I told them the repair person never showed up between the agreed upon time. They informed me that it was not their problem. They can't control if the repairman shows up as agreed or not. I had this home warranty from old republic for seven years. I paid 150 extra a year in good faith that it was going to cover my air-conditioning and heating. But lo and behold once my air-conditioning went out the technician that they sent out made up stories that children were sitting on it or pets or something to make the warranty no longer valid. Do not get Old Republic as a home warranty. They contract the worst companies to come do repairs. I a horrible experience with Vector Home Appliance in *********. That company has a 2 star rating on ****. I called in and complained after the technician at Vector Home Appliance disregarded everything I said and tried to tell me my dishwasher wasn't leaking. I am currently on hold with old Republic, and I have been on hold for 40 minutes so far today. Yesterday I was on hold twice for thirty minutes each time. Every time someone answers the phone they say they need to transfer me to someone else. I have three policies with Old Republic. They do not seem interested in keeping my business at all. Dealing with this company has been very stressful .

They are no better than **********. Quick to take your money but finds any reason not to follow through. You are much better off going anywhere else for any reason. I'm not sure why I spent all this money on a warranty that makes it difficult for you to get them to cover anything at all. My first time calling in, and they weasle out of following through on my warranty on top of making me wait for 35 mins, I will NOT be using them in the future.
