Awful!! Waiting on hold hours to be told I need to pay over $2000 for my AC that is out and not functioning. Certain parts are not covered. Why have a warranty plan if I am going to be paying over $2000 dollars. I waited on hold 1.5 hours before having to hang up and 1 hour the next to be told this. So CRAZY!!!!

I filed a claim for a dishwasher on 8 July. ORHP contacted a company that is over an hour away from our house to come diagnose and fix the dishwasher. After a week and a half, the company(**************************) finally contacted us back to set up a time to come look at the dishwasher. They arrived 2 days later and diagnosed the motherboard as the problem. They did not have the part in stock so had to order it. I have waited 3weeks now going on 4 weeks for a major kitchen appliance repair. I have paid for 'non-covered repairs' of $372.46 (still unknown details). The Appliance Repair company assigned by my Home Warranty, Old Republic, refused to provide a detailed line item invoice, and says I need to contact the Warranty Company, Old Republic? This company has taken payment from me for several years, and will literally find any excuse to not repair, replace or reimburse any of my service requests. Out of four appliance repair requests, each one was dismissed with another excuse. The customer service representatives will pass you around on the phone for an hour before actually answering your questions. Bad , I dont recommend. They will do anything but help you with the bare minimum. We bought the plan that covered the most according to their brochure and they will do anything to not fix or replace or repair . They will send the cheapest shops out to your home on a free estimate but will charge you a $100 fee deductible just to be told that your plan dont cover . If I can give them a 0 I would .

THE WORST EVER. Had this company for over 9 years. Never a problem. This year is the worst. Three weeks and still waiting for my dryer to get fixed. Price of membership higher and awful customer service. I us to refer this ********************** to all my real estate friends for the new home owners... NOPE NO NEVER. The company they hired to find contractors is not any better. Sad No star here. Not worth one star but its making me a star.

If I could give Old Republic Home protection zero stars, I would.I purchased my home just one week ago, and within days, my **** system completely failed. I filed a claim through Old Republic thinking this was exactly what a home warranty is for. I live close to the headquarters, purchased a vacation home ~200 miles away. The washer was broken with water leaking, the drier would run for 1hr, 40min of cold air blowing, contacted Old Republic and was told You need to locate someone and pay them for inspection/repair. This was 1 of several issues, OR fails to assist! I phoned the *** was advised a manager would take my call, the agent refused to identify herself, lied and placed my call into a phone cue! The customer service is terrible along with charges and repairs. I reported a malfunctioning refrigerator June 2 almost 9 weeks ago. It is still not working and the offer is we can give you 475 or we can fix it with no time linit with regards to actually have it fixed. This was after being on hold for over an hour. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told the following morning a supervisor would contact me.
