While my review is for the Elk Grove Village, IL location, it's still the same company. For the past 2 months I have been waking up with bites on my arms, legs, ankles, wrist. It was still mildly warm, so I passed it off as mosquito bites. Then.. It started to get cold... Mosquitoes are gone, still getting bit. So I went to my doctor. The only time I saw the exterminator was the day I signed up. He would call and say he was in my drive way. I work and can't just leave my job. This happened 2 times. I was still billed and told that he sprayed the outside. The last time I asked if they could come back the next week when I would be home. I was told no. I told them not to come at all we were through. I still received a bill. I call the manager, but was told he was busy. He never returned my called. I have a contract with orkin to spray for bees. Every year I remind them to please bring a large extension ladder in order to spray the upper part of the house.Every year they fail to bring one.They came to spray last week,again without a ladder.The tech promised me that he would be back on sat. with the ladder.No show or no call. I am calling them as I write this review (1;20 in the afternoon) I have been on hold now for 19 minutes so I have plenty of time to type.I am sure that this company has some good people wanting to ... read more

Not impressed. The woman on the phone was great. Explained a lot to me. The exterminator rushed through my place for a few minutes. He would not explain anything to me.

Called an made an appointment to get a free estimate. The day of the appointment the technician calls and says he will need payment and the owners signature to do an inspection. Which I was never told when I made the appointment. The owners live in Atlanta and if I was given notice I could of gotten their signatures. How a free estimate turned into a fee not quite sure. Won't be using them again.

I think my Orkin is Ravenswood, but same service. Great at first, but then they stopped coming and I was still getting billed.

I am unsure which Orkin location I was directed to, but the service I received speaks for them all. I called for an inspection and had a set appointment. About 15 minutes later the technician calls me back to say I was doubled booked and the earliest he could get to my home was was the next day. So they next day arrives and no technician shows up or calls at the scheduled time. I call back to find out what happened and the technician says I don't remember talking to you honestly and I have a note by your name for the next da... read more

Had a pest control problem. Wasn't seeing progress in the treatments. Called their rep. Didn't call me back. Emailed him to call me. Replyed via email that he would call. Never did. I cancelled services. They sent their final bill. I asked if they were willing to make any kind of accomodation because of the fact that they didn't remediate the problem, not to mention not returning my calls. I have had Orkin for 17 years. The first 15, they were fine. Then they just stopped coming. The technician blamed the office -- said he was called out of town for a few months and someone else should be have come out. The office said he had been there and spritzed the outside of the property. Regardless, they kept billing me. Then they stopped pretending to come at all and kept billing me.
