I am unsure which Orkin location I was directed to, but the service I received speaks for them all. I called for an inspection and had a set appointment. About 15 minutes later the technician calls me back to say I was doubled booked and the earliest he could get to my home was was the next day. So they next day arrives and no technician shows up or calls at the scheduled time. Had a pest control problem. Wasn't seeing progress in the treatments. Called their rep. Didn't call me back. Emailed him to call me. Replyed via email that he would call. Never did. I cancelled services. They sent their final bill. I asked if they were willing to make any kind of accomodation because of the fact that they didn't remediate the problem, not to mention not returning my calls. I have had Orkin for 17 years. The first 15, they were fine. Then they just stopped coming. The technician blamed the office -- said he was called out of town for a few months and someone else should be have come out. The office said he had been there and spritzed the outside of the property. Regardless, they kept billing me. Then they stopped pretending to come at all and kept billing me. I was a new customer to Orkin and spent about 35 minutes on the phone talking to sales and it really sounded like a professional and organized company. NOT at ALL. Made an appointment and took off from work only for them not to even call or show up. All the non professional customer service could tell me is that someone can call me within 24 hours to see what happened. No supervisors available and no one that had a clue about my appointment. We got in touch with Orkin when we found out there were rats in our house. I thought i was contracting with a team of professionals but it turned out to be the complete opposite... First, Orkin is always late. They call you to say they will be there within 30 minutes and 2 hours later you are still waiting. Second, their representatives are not technology savy! I would give half a star if that was possible. I called Orkin after I had tried unsuccessfully to get rid of mice in my home by setting traps and closing plumbing and electrical holes with copper wiring. Good points: They are very polite and professional on the phone. Bad point, they are very incompetent. My very first call, the customer service representative had a voice dripping with honey. This company is under contract to our condo. They are incredibly incompetent and worthless. In general they make things worse and the problems they create have to be ultimately undone by other pest control contractors. I have no idea why our condo keeps these guys considering their terrible history.

Marion Illinois office is worthless. They missed a schedule treatment in the fall and failed to come back to do it but yet harressed us with paying a bill from them. Manager of office here was rude and did not care to try to keep me as a client. Would never use them again. Go with someone else for pest control

The gist of this epic: This office is thoroughly unprofessional. From start to finish they offered sub-par service at best. A terrible service which cost me hundreds of dollars, endangered myself and my pets, and provided no resolution to my problem.
