I was a new customer to Orkin and spent about 35 minutes on the phone talking to sales and it really sounded like a professional and organized company. NOT at ALL. Made an appointment and took off from work only for them not to even call or show up. All the non professional customer service could tell me is that someone can call me within 24 hours to see what happened. No supervisors available and no one that had a clue about my appointment. We got in touch with Orkin when we found out there were rats in our house. I thought i was contracting with a team of professionals but it turned out to be the complete opposite... First, Orkin is always late. They call you to say they will be there within 30 minutes and 2 hours later you are still waiting. Second, their representatives are not technology savy! I would give half a star if that was possible. I called Orkin after I had tried unsuccessfully to get rid of mice in my home by setting traps and closing plumbing and electrical holes with copper wiring. Good points: They are very polite and professional on the phone. Bad point, they are very incompetent. My very first call, the customer service representative had a voice dripping with honey. This company is under contract to our condo. They are incredibly incompetent and worthless. In general they make things worse and the problems they create have to be ultimately undone by other pest control contractors. I have no idea why our condo keeps these guys considering their terrible history.

Marion Illinois office is worthless. They missed a schedule treatment in the fall and failed to come back to do it but yet harressed us with paying a bill from them. Manager of office here was rude and did not care to try to keep me as a client. Would never use them again. Go with someone else for pest control

The gist of this epic: This office is thoroughly unprofessional. From start to finish they offered sub-par service at best. A terrible service which cost me hundreds of dollars, endangered myself and my pets, and provided no resolution to my problem. Initial Contact: Like others, I had difficulty contacting this office to schedule the initial consultation. They do not seem to respond to email requests generated from the main Orkin website. I have had the absolute WORST experience with orkin ever. After being a loyal customer for two years orkin raised my prices by $10 without informing me first. Then, they never showed up for my regularly scheduled appointment. After waiting an additional 15 days I called and requested service. Orkin then charged me for the service requested. Thanks for making me feel valuable. I will let everyone know how you treat your customers.

I was hoping to have a nationally recognized company service our home for pests. But after several calls and missed appointments for the initial inspection, I just dropped them all together and went local. Orkin took our information both contact and description of our issue and scheduled an inspection for the following day. The following day arrives and no one showed. I can't really leave a review of their service as I was unable to get anyone over to my place to take care of the bug problem. I first clicked on the set up an appointment button on their website. I filled out the information, and was informed they would contact me. I received two automatic email replies that said they would be in contact with me. No one called me that day.
