horrible horrible not worth it at all. I was charged 270 just for a guy to place 4 mice traps in my home and then I was told that I'd have to pay an additional unknown fee for an inspector to actually stop the mice from coming in!!! this wasn't explained to me prior and when I asked for a refund they gave me the run around for weeks!! i was told that I'd receive $225 back but they only refunded me $40. I would not recommend!!!!! oh and the customer service sucks too

a first time Orkin customer. BEWARE of this company, they tell you the service will be a set amount BUT then they charge you triple that quoted amount. If I could give this company a ZERO.....instead of a ONE...I would. The tech was unprofessional and did not listen to my issues with ants being outside our house , not inside. He spent an hour inside the house acting like he was spraying. It's one start because 0 is not an option, I will tell you the service tech was awesome it's the sales tactic was a bold face lie. I was told when we signed up the initial payment would cover the first two visits, with the second visit a month later. We had our first visit and we were charged the agreed upon rate, along with an added fee for "EasyPay". This was a $55.74 fee to be billed monthly and not after each visit. We had first used Orkin last year and they were wonderful, I don't know what happened. We found we have a wasp infestation this past Saturday and they were supposed to come on Tuesday between 8 and 10. No call, no show so we called and the lady said to wait, they'll show up. I had to leave for work so we had to reschedule. they were supposed to come today (Thursday) well my family and I wait again. No one. Worst company! they scam you and overcomplicate their explanations because yo are desperate due to pests! Charged me almost $1000 an hour for work. The 21-page report they presented me made me think the job would be complicated. Two guys, and 2 1/2 hours later (including a lunch break and they were done. I blame myself too for not understanding the work they planned to do. Do not use!

These guys are everything that is bad about big corporations. Take a couple extra minutes and find someone local. Despite what Orkin tells you, THERE ARE EXTERMINATORS WHO WILL GIVE YOU PRICING BEFORE THEY SHOW UP. They also told me that what I knew to be termites were, in fact, termites by simply sending them a picture. Tony's Pest Killers, in case you have termites in Chicago.

Orkin had a tech come out to my address and only service the outside of my building. I called to speak with a manager and he told me that services were still rendered which is unacceptable because the tech did not spray the inside of my apt yet I was charged. Unacceptable and horrible service. I will not be using them again.
