Paid $98.00 all he did was come out and set a lot of traps . he dint inspect to try to find out how the bugs was getting in. Sat in his truck 30 minutes making me out a yearly contract which I had no clue about...I called them for stink bugs he said he couldnt spray for them until around September. Disappointed to say the least. Orkin guy came over to get rid of rodents in attic. Said he set some traps. He was supposed to return yesterday morning for the followup but cancelled 3 hours before appointment for a test?? I took time off from work. Never heard back to reschedule . Doesn't answer his texts. Said originally they have very fast response time. Don't recommend them . Week later someone came out and found 2 dead rats in the traps. Filled out the information needed for a Orkin rep to contact me. 24 hours later they did and I explained what was needed and the location of the bees. An Orkin person showed up and took video and pictures and said he would be getting back to me that a younger person would need to do this job as it was in an attic which I explained on the phone. The Orkin Branch 557 in Toledo Ohio is Horrible. I have had them over 20 years, and I will agree they were great for the first 15 years, but boy they have gone down Hill. They spray 1 little room and want to charge you a crazy amount. Call, and the Manager is downright Mean. Now, on the other hand the Orkin Branch in Bradenton, Florida is Great, Pleasant to deal with and charges 1/3 less?
Worst customer service! I called regarding a inspection and possible treatment for possible bugs in my apartment, two staff members told me i could get service and said that my apartment management just had to call and give them access to treat before setting a appointment, and then when i asked if they could call my complex to seek that access, a third staff member then answer and very rudely stated that they don't treat apartment complexes. The Pittsburgh service was useless. I paid more than $600 for bi-monthly service for less than a year for an ant problem I had last Spring. When the ants reappeared first thing this Spring, Orkin said, "yea, sometimes that happens," and gave me one free treatment. #wasteofmoney.
It started out great. The person in their call center was fabulous! Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He provided a lot of information, set up the appontment and sent a follow up e-mail. Because of this rare fabulous customer service I didn't balk at the almost $1000 price tag for the cost of the treatment I needed. biggest scam. they will get you to sign up for a year then say you don't need to pay for future service if you don't need it then they just show up after you say you don't need and then bills you for a service.
Called them to take care of mice in my basement, the technician came out and placed glue traps in the basement and bait traps outside the house. He showed me where they had chewed thru the garage door seal and said he would have someone contact me to get a replacement that was mouse proof. Well the mice moved upstairs where the cats and my family are even though he said they would stay away from us.
