Filled out the information needed for a Orkin rep to contact me. 24 hours later they did and I explained what was needed and the location of the bees. An Orkin person showed up and took video and pictures and said he would be getting back to me that a younger person would need to do this job as it was in an attic which I explained on the phone. The Orkin Branch 557 in Toledo Ohio is Horrible. I have had them over 20 years, and I will agree they were great for the first 15 years, but boy they have gone down Hill. They spray 1 little room and want to charge you a crazy amount. Call, and the Manager is downright Mean. Now, on the other hand the Orkin Branch in Bradenton, Florida is Great, Pleasant to deal with and charges 1/3 less?

Worst customer service! I called regarding a inspection and possible treatment for possible bugs in my apartment, two staff members told me i could get service and said that my apartment management just had to call and give them access to treat before setting a appointment, and then when i asked if they could call my complex to seek that access, a third staff member then answer and very rudely stated that they don't treat apartment complexes. The Pittsburgh service was useless. I paid more than $600 for bi-monthly service for less than a year for an ant problem I had last Spring. When the ants reappeared first thing this Spring, Orkin said, "yea, sometimes that happens," and gave me one free treatment. #wasteofmoney.

It started out great. The person in their call center was fabulous! Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He provided a lot of information, set up the appontment and sent a follow up e-mail. Because of this rare fabulous customer service I didn't balk at the almost $1000 price tag for the cost of the treatment I needed. I left work early to be able to get home in time for my 4:30 appointment time. Arrived home and waited for the tech to call and say they were on their way. I waited and waited and waited. biggest scam. they will get you to sign up for a year then say you don't need to pay for future service if you don't need it then they just show up after you say you don't need and then bills you for a service.

Called them to take care of mice in my basement, the technician came out and placed glue traps in the basement and bait traps outside the house. He showed me where they had chewed thru the garage door seal and said he would have someone contact me to get a replacement that was mouse proof. Well the mice moved upstairs where the cats and my family are even though he said they would stay away from us. Carpenter Ant problem. Orkin quoted me $450 for the year. I asked them if they didn't get the ants the first time will they come back, she said they will come back as many times as needed for the year. Finally got the guy to come out who then proceeded to tell me it would cost "much, much more". Called head office and they back peddled saying that it would be a minimum of $450. Outrageous! The person on the phone was very unhelpful without a quote for a ball park range. Orkin guarantees a 30 day warranty for bedbugs, but states that the lifespan is over 300 days and that females come out to feed around every 60 days. I inquired about the method of treatments including types of chemicals and the spokesperson refused to answer without an inspection.
