The worst service by company with scheduling. Service tech William is awesome. But Orkin's scheduling is non- caring of customers schedule!!! I've had this problem w/ two other pest control companies!!!!
Worst service ever. I wish I had Yelped them before I went into a contract with them. Very unresponsive, very irresponsible, not providing the service they are supposed to provide and not having an explanation for it. Not willing to fix the problem. They make it SEEM that they're willing but in the end you'll see you're where you started. I have not experienced a worse level of care and customer service for as long as I can remember. I can't post a review about Orkin's performance because they never helped me. I contacted them about a big carpenter ant problem I have. Twice they sent (different) inspectors to assess the situation. They both indicated they could solve the problem, but both times said they needed to talk more with their management first and would get back to me. They never did. We hired Orkin Pest Control to service us for termites last year and the chemical should be good for ten years. I found some more termites earlier this week so I called Orkin to come take a look and the inspector said that the service last year missed one window so he scheduled a re-service on the next day between 1-4 pm. On the appointment day we were waiting but did not hear anyone came and I found out on my phone message that the service guy came by but no one open the door. Our technician was great, but customer service is terrible. I've gotten conflicting information from every representative I've spoken to, and because of this, we were charged when we shouldn't have been and they refuse to reverse the charges. We are not happy and will be canceling our policy immediately. The service is not effective enough to be worth the cost, would not recommend to anyone.
Do not contract them!!!! All they do come spray the outside for bugs and the technician doesn't even treat the problem you actually contract them for! It would be a waste of your time and money! They don't commit to the time scheduled for service and then they send you a general report telling you they were there. They're quick to charge your account the monthly fee however don't take the time to really treat the problem! Terrible customer service. Products they use don't work. In fact, I saw an increase in bugs after I started using them. Use Terminix or any other pest control company instead of these clowns.
Thanks for nothing Orkin. You were supposed to be at my house today between 10-12. I called and was told someone would arrive and would call me when on their way. It's now 12:15pm and no one has shown and apparently, your office is now closed, even though you advertise 24/7 customer service on your website. So now the schedule I scheduled around YOUR time frame window has been completely shot and the problem has not been addressed. I sure as hell won't be leaving any positive reviews.
When Orkin came to my house they explained about one half of what their one year contract involves. The explained the part about being notified by email and text. They explained the part about paying every month. They didn't explain that you pay them every month but they only come every other month, which results in a charge of almost $100 per service.
