We needed someone to go into our crawl space for pest control. On the call, the Orkin rep stated they could definitely take care of it- he asked for the measurements to the crawl space and we provided all the info. He gave two quotes- $260 for removal and $40 a month for maintenance or $300 for removal with no monthly maintenance. We opted for the one time visit and scheduled for a few days later. BUYER BEWARE!!! ***See addition below*** It was all smooth sailing until the actual process started. We should have checked the reviews on Yelp first. The current score of 2 starts is generous! In all honesty they tell you what you want to hear in order to make the sale. Once things are signed - Orkin is not involved in any of the process and they contract out the work to other companies. If I could give Orkin Pest Control, Riverside a lower rating, I would. We cancelled their service over 2 months ago and they came to our home without an appointment. I saw a gentleman on "ring" with a long duster, cleaning my eaves. They never checked rat traps or came into the home for bugs. Mater of fact, they arrived too late to do an inspection. Field rep Francisco, Flores lic#50745 came onto my property without my permission after I told him to leave and was looking for the previous owner. He then starts to attempt to do an outside inspection and I asked him to leave. Then he tries to sneak an inspection tag through my garage door opening. I then receive a bogus inspection in the mail stating he found termites, etc, and that he posted his tag on my front door. And it's addressed to the previous owner. Bad experience. Very expensive$450 up front and a monthly $100. When Orkin is selling you the the product they tell you they will cover everything, however that quickly changes when the technician comes. There's additional fees for everything like having to climb over 6feet or having to go on the roof. The craftsmanship is very poor for patch jobs. Bait and switch! Signed up for monthly service and they charged my credit card twice with in 2 weeks! Called them and they told me they charge each time the technician comes out. Oh and I didn't even schedule for the technician, he just showed up! He showed up so the company can charge! What a scam! AVOID!

This company has horrible business practices. I received my monthly statement and noticed the standard service fee was raised 23 percent!! With No prior notification at all! No letter , no email. But Orkin will bug the hell out of you to pay. Even before the service is completed. They email something every few days trying to sell other services or a collection notice but not a word about rate increase. Go with another company. Was quoted on the phone one price. Then they showed up 4 hours early, woke me up and told me they couldn't honor that price. Daniel Perez was a prick.
