I decided to use this company. Very pleasant experience in reserving appointment, so much so that I was willing to pay the $1,100 cost for them to manage pest issue on the property. NOW LET ME EXPLAIN WHY YOU SHOULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ORKIN....I left work early on the day of my appointment so that I was there well before my scheduled time of service. Very disappointed. Kenyon was rude--very rude. As a first-time customer trying to figure everything out, he was not helpful at all. I am currently on hold to cancel my service. From the moment he stepped into my apartment he had an attitude. This shouldn't be his job if he doesn't want to interact with people and help them understand the process that they are paying for. I will never use Orkin again.
Extremely disappointed with the awful, careless and disrespectful service so I cannot recommend them. The person who was sent did the exact opposite of what was asked and I did not receive the actual service that I was charged for. Please use a different company
Horrible service, I made an appointment that they never recorded and have been waiting all day for no one to show up.
Made arrangements with my work, a place to stay, as well as 7 of my neighbors (who had to vacate the building for an entire afternoon). When the service technician arrived, he said that he couldn't actually do the service because we hadn't emptied our cupboards. Raquel was the one at Orkin who set up the appointment, but for some bizarre reason did not tell us to clear our kitchen cupboards. Technicians are AMAZINGLY understanding and professional (Cisro, John, Nick). It's unfortunate that the access/service center that schedules service DOES NOT reflect the quality of the technician's employed. I have scheduled 4 appointments within the past 3 weeks only to be informed, after waiting for someone to show, NOTHING had been placed on the scheduled. Ridiculous! We found a couple of termites after the recent heatwave (8/20) so we called Orkin for an inspection. We chose them because we have them on a schedule to come by periodically to spray for ants. The Orkin guy did an inspection and showed us photos of termites in our attic and basement. He's very professional. We sign a contract right there for tenting and fumigation and pick a Monday about three weeks out. We'll have to be out of the house Monday - Wednesday. Orkin use to be a really good service. Unfortunately the second time around it sucked. The technician shows when they want and do a half ass job. I rarely post bad things about businesses but the service was so bad I would like to warn the next customer before they waste their time and money. I called to complain and I am still waiting for the business manager to return my call.
Rep on the phone was great when I first contacted I was excited that I was going to get rid of my pest problem and scheduled the service for Saturday. On Friday, I decided to check Yelp and saw all the negative reviews.
