orkin pest control is a big old name but their branch in san bernardino office seems not functional well to me. One of their termite inspector came over recently, he only checked at the spot (termites) where i pointed it out to him, then no where else in the house, patio or the garage he checked for termits. He then gave me a quote for the whole house including the garage. by the way the garage size was measured bigger than it is, untill i spoke out. Dear potential consumer. Do not use Orkin. As I sit here writing this, I am putting the pieces back together from my home being burglarized while I had my SECOND fumigation with your company. Your employee, sent me a TEXT saying, "there's been a breakin, go to your house." What kind of cryptic message is that to not then call with more details? I changed my review. They are a scam. They charged me for monthly service less than two weeks after my initial service when in as told by the tech it would be every 3 months. I have a as told spiders would be gone, but they're still there along with all the webs he said he removed. Horrible. On top of all that the termite inspector was late and I had to reschedule. Use someone local that you can trust not this scam.

A family member paid $500.00 to have Orkin inspect our home for bed bugs The $500.00 was paid in full 6 days before the inspection. We subsequently received a bill and called Orkin. We then received a second billing notice and again called Orkin asking for a reduction in the bill - no amount stated. Essentially Orkin said no reduction in any amount.

Be prepared to have to constantly call these "technicians" back weekly because your issue will not get solved. Orkin is not thorough, misdiagnoses pest problems, and will be very negligent to your pest issue. The other night, I saw what I was told was a mouse. Decided to give Orkin a call and their resolution were flimsy glue boards ("strategically placed") that I could have purchased myself from the hardware store. I haven't contracted them personally . It was a service provided by an apparent complex (Ava Studio City) I lived in. Representative came twice for two different reasons. First one was roaches. We left a comment in the request, that we have a baby, and we are concerned about chemicals. And eventually it ended up with the chemicals placed on one of our baby's toys, which always is being sucked by the baby Second time we requested the service because something was biting our baby. Orkin, as a company, is so frustrating. Upon starting my "contract" it was very unclear in terms of whether it was actually a "contract," and how to exit it, if need be. (We had a seasonal summer need for pest control but it tapers in the winter and we wanted to cut back costs.) The procedure for exiting the agreement or "contract" was that you had to call and request a "manager" to call you back. Orkin referred my job to a subcontractor who did subpar and incomplete work, and Orkin took no responsibility or accountability for the shoddy job. Horrible experience, I would never recommend them.
