The carpaccio was bland. The linguini and clams was watery and bland. The server came back to check if everything was fine but did not offer to fill water or offer more drinks etc. my husband liked the squid ink pasta but initially was brought the wrong food. I thought it was odd that it came out in 2 minutes if that. My son seemed to enjoy the steak. Not worth the price if it’s so hit and miss.

My BF and friend got sick over the gnocchi dish. Ordered a soda as soon as we sat down and didn’t even get it until after our dinner came out (same with bread). I had plain penne with ragu which was pretty good otherwise.

I’m no newbie when it comes to dining and this place was probably the worst food I e had in a few years. The pasta was terrible the special of the night was dime size not fresh scallops and 1/2 lobster over cooked and Miele. Some friends highly recommend this place I have no clue how or why they would suggest us to go there with a rickety tables and their subpar service I suggest to steer clear of this place This review was done immediately after leaving the restaurant I will re-at it and go into detail about the service

Although food was very good, it was a shame that service was so poor. It took away from the experience.

Unfortunately, service was pretty slow. We made a reservation and still had to wait about 15 mins upon arrival, food is just meh. I expected more from the oldest Italian spot at Gaslamp, the appetizers were decent. Try the Bruschetta! Pass on the lobster ravioli

I have frequented Panevino many times. It was one of my favorite restaurants in the Gaslamp. Last night the food was - I hate to say it - but horrible.

Good was subpar we didn’t even finish our plates, service was way below average, I asked for salt 3 times before the owner/manager noticed and got it for me. The ambiance is good.

Bad food, super expensive. Felt like is a tourist’s trap. Plus the waiter added food we haven’t taken on the bill. I would not recommend this place.

Good definitely overpriced. I felt like it was better the last time I went than this time. Prices for no menu items should be disclosed when being discussed with the waiter. Overall food was okay, but not worth what was charged.
