Food is not what it used to be. Service was slow and bad. They try to rip you off by brining bottle water after we asked for tap. Then they have a service charge! It is not enough they are ripping people off. Will not go back.
45 minute wait for our food and the restaurant was hardly full on a Monday night. We assumed we would get in and out in an hour and make it to the Padres game, but failed horribly. Hostess was nice, Server was great, Food was good, but just too long to wait for food at a restaurant that serves food.
We returned after previous great experiences but tonight was unfortunately no where near what it has been. Hoping things improve in the future.
They did all the plates nor as requested, forgot one of our orders
Pizza was too tick and not really tasting fresh . They don’t have the wood fired and you can definitely see that.
The food was just ok. There were small bugs in the window which is where we sat…buzzing around. Had to wait for bread after asking a third time. Nice ambiance and noise level not too bad.
I booked a table for 6 (business dinner) after reading various recommendations. The experience was terrible. One dish (salmon) was completely unedible -- oversalted and dry. Two people order a special (linguini and lobster pasta): the pasta was overcooked; the sauce bland; the lobster cold. Music was too loud to enjoy normal conversation with people next to you. Avoid at all costs!!!
I never had a bad experience at Osteria Panevino until tonight, but it wasn't as a result of the restaurant as it was a server issue. I ordered the Penne Al Cinghiale asking to sub rice in place of pasta and I never had a server unwilling to accommodate and today was my first time the server refused. The server then later proceeded to knock over my glass of wine and shattered my wine glass, never replaced my wine and I even had a cut on my forearm.
