Paychex is awful. They cannot process payroll for 2 employees that get paid the same every 2 weeks, unless changes are submitted. For no reason they payed one employee 24 hrs less than they were supposed to and paid another seasonal employee for hours they did not work or submit for. This is not the first time either, going on about a dozen s**** **** Each time they say "sorry for your frustration, the problem has been fixed" and it is never is. 2 employees seems pretty simple, right. Paychex comes off as wonderful at first, but they are real sneaky about cinflict resolution. There were many issues with the website and they 'waived' several fees. Only, jokes on me because they never did and I'm thousands of dollars in the red because their system fails repeatedly. When I called to talk through the issue, I was expected to have documented each and every call just in case I would need to go back and pull phone records. Very frustrating experience with Paychex. I completed my 401(k) enrollment and was eligible to participate from the beginning of my employment, but I could not access my retirement information on the Paychex ************ employer provided screenshots confirming I was enrolled, while Paychex said I was not. My employer also said they had contacted Paychex, but the issue remained unresolved. Everything they say they provide sounds good but they lack in follow through. They sold me on the idea that they take over and do everything. I had about 7 different people work on rolling over my account and they did not communicate together so I was submitting the same information over and over. When you need help, they send you to their help page or help chat. Help Chat kept saying they couldn't help.

This may be one of the worst vendor experiences I have ever had. Multiple issues:-Missed payroll twice in a row -Promised 3 months of complimentary services which was not honored -Opened 401k plan, created contributions in error and then charged $1500 to terminate plan -Made an error in Q2 payroll taxes - When attempted to contact specialists for help, they cancelled the requested meetings, hung up, and did not return emails Their operation seems incredibly sloppy if not borderline illegal given the mistakes they have made. ... read more

They are the absolutely the worst payroll service Ive ever had. I tried for almost 2 years to get them to do certified payrolls correctly. I was told they knew how to do it but never could get anyone qualified. Constant role over of new employees most under trained with no knowledge of a certified/ prevailing wage payroll.They would go in to correct an issue and mess with my regular payroll. So many mistakes. They should not be in business! J ******** ****'t even say they deserve 1 star.

Stupidest company I have ever encountered. I beg you not to trust them. Someone hacked THEIR SITE, stole my money, and they are completely unwilling and unable to help. With a smile on their stupid f'ing voice. After 10 hours, you might be lucky enough to talk to an absolute moron.
