I have been very unhappy with having PennyMac as our mortgage servicer. Their customer service is appalling. They say to not submit your tax documents as they also receive them, but was doubtful decided to check if they had done so and found out that they did not account for the sharp increase in taxes in our escrow and we would have been in the red and had to pay out of pocket. I had to have a painful back and forth over the PennyMac messenger because I could never reach a human being on the phone and it took many messages ... read more
