Contacts were proactive and informative. Maybe better with single contact/process manager. Was still easy enough to track someone down for questions.
Edna was great, but there were lots of issues with the transaction. I was miss quoted by my loans officer and it was just frustrating because it was something that was quoted multiple times and ended up being different at the last minute. The location for my signing was also miscommunicated, which was very frustrating. I was constantly told that the notary would come to my home but on the day of signing I received a call from a notary saying I was supposed to be in San Francisco, 3 hours away from where I was, because of thi... read more
5 star, John and Peter were extremely helpful during a difficult time.
There was only email communication. Only spoke to a person at the app process and then when I called to question the subordination I got that was asked door I think 4 times when they had all the info already.

I shouldn't be taking this survey 2 months after the refinance. Penny Mac seems very unorganized.
Easy process.
after putting in our application I started receiving dozens of cold calls from other companies, it was highly disruptive and I wasn't told my phone number would end up on a list. In addition, its a big company experience. There were so many people working on our refinance that I honestly don't know who Marcia was within that process. That being said we were approved quickly and it was fairly simple to use the document portal. It was also nice that we were able to sign our papers at home.
