It was great and really helped me save money
Too many team mates involved asking same questions & requesting same documentation. Very confusing to a man of my age. The older generation isn’t very computer savvy & it was difficult.

John Wilbanks was great to work with. Noemy was good about communicating what was needed from me. There was a holdup from my existing mortgage company to get the payoff amount, but that wasn't Penny Mac's fault. The only issue I had was that the cash to close amount was greater than what I had been told in the closing disclosure.
Crystal Larez was beyond gr8 in communicating with me throughout my refinance process. Cudos to Crystal.

Peter was extremely helpful with the many questions and confusions I had. This is a long process, Peter had all the patience with me. The loan process went well; however, at times I would receive several phone calla from a office representative ensuring the necessary paperwork requested has been sent. I explained to her all were submitted promptly through the portal. She checked and agreed all were submitted. This occurred several times, calls were not necessary... The beginning half of this home purchase was amazing due to Loan Officer Jessie Adams. She is incredibly personal, sincere and hard working. The back half of this experience was abysmal, partially due to the VA under valuing the home. Rosario never provided clear instructions as to exactly what was needed for closing, the documentation was incorrect several times and needed to be corrected and lastly I got the unexpected surprise of needing to come up with an additional $3K at closing due to an error on PennyMAC's part. Paulette was very good at making sure we stayed up to date with the latest info. Even if there were no updates, she would still call and let us know what we should be expecting. She was amazing and very helpful
