Though our property is typical of the area and real estate market, there was delay in underwriting causing need for 2 appraisals and almost a third. The reason was not clearly conveyed by underwriting. This was the only real hang up in the process. We had to ask the seller for 2 extensions. We were looking at going to a different lender to not lose the sale but just made it. We do not feel this was the fault of Sheryl. She became our advocate.

I would have liked to communication on a bi-weekly basis, to keep fully informed of the process. There were times that I did not know where we stood or how close we were to closing, and all this did was cause frustration and unease. In this day and age it's almost expected that replies be immediate, and even when uploading the documents the website indicated that it could take one to three days for those to process. I would have liked to been informed of when the documents were received.
