This process took entirely took long. Started the process in July and did not close until late November. Other than that, the service was good.
Larry was fantastic. Everything went quickly and as communicated. The only issue we experienced was a delay in closing due to a loan closure violation. The delay was not an issue but also wasn't communicated, so we were looking for our notary to arrive on the scheduled date....but that didn't happen. After we called, Larry got us straightened out and rescheduled. From there all went as planned. Very impressed with how quickly my loan was closed. Highly recommend Penny Mac for ReFi.
Closing didn't happen on time.
I know the timeframes have been pushed back due to covid, however I feel I’ve waited a little too long to close. The service was great I just didn’t like how long it took for my loan to close.

My experience was pleasant and efficient.
My loan officer was really not very communicative. I would request changes or had questions and he would never get back to me. Paperwork was wrong multiple times and all the closing paperwork was inaccurate due to his lack of attention. Thankfully the closing agent Larry Rivers was wonderful. I still believe my name is inaccurate on my loan docs but will not be certain until I receive my billing. In the end my rate was great and I’m happy with Pennymac
The whole process from beginning to end was amazing. Danyell always kept us informed of the loan process and always answered my questions with such courtesy and professionalism. She is truly an asset to PM.
