PennyMac was very good to work with. I got a great interest rate with low closing costs. Their website worked well for uploading documents. Overall I am very happy with the refi.
Have my paperwork fixed in one of the 5 times I tried to get it fixed, loan officer to understand the numbers on paperwork and understand how they were wrong, I thought she should of been the expert. a lot of time wasted calling and emailing about my issue. Problem is still not fixed
From my first phone call to the closing, the team at Pennymac made it easy to refinance our mortgage. I felt that they listened to my concerns and preferences and guided me through the process. As a loan officer myself. This was by far the longest loan I have ever seen take place. We did not need an appraisal and was asked 2 times for paystubs. I had to keep emailing Larry and Moe to see what was going on with the loan. Larry did email us the same thing every week saying our loan was in for final approval for almost 3 months. But we are happy with our rate and had to pay to keep it at that rate. Thank you Jamie Smith
PennyMac Loan Services was able to get me started with my refinance process and everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end. This was my first time doing a refinance and my questions were always answered. I didn't feel any pressure and was given all the information up front.
