One person was kindof rude to me when returning my phone call. A third party called me for information they didn't need. Documents requested and promptly privided by me were overlooked which caused a 2 week delay in closing my loan. I downloaded the docs then called to find out the status of my loan and was asked again for the same information. It was at that time the info I provided was addressed. And I had a signing appt within a couple days.
The agent dropped the ball the first time and our re-finance fell through and was closed from no fault of ours. We re-applied with the same info, and finally closed. Zero contact throughout the process from our assigned agent, which was the same agent that messed up the first attempt. Our closing date came and went with no responses to my emails. Closing was delayed. During closing, the paperwork was completely wrong. Closing again rescheduled, closing costs increased by thousands.
Ciesta was AWESOME!!! took longer than i expected but with the amount of refi in process now i understand and wasnt bothered a bit!
I work 12 to 14 hour days 6 days a week and the team worked around my schedule for documents or calling me back. I feel I wouldn't get that same type of customer care anywhere else.
Patrick did a very good job in helping and explaining what was going on …. the fact that it took 5 months to close on a refinance is to long
What made it a great experience, was the fact that I was thinking about refinancing when PennyMac approached me first. And better yet, the interest rate offered to me was about 1.4 points lower than what I currently had, which I felt was an awesome thing. Everything in the loan process was handled with the utmost care. It was indeed a pleasure.
Communication was horrible! I regretted refinancing halfway through calls were unanswered, agent would say to expect a call from them but would never call, agent would say they get assistance with answering questions but never follow up. Horrible communication made the process soooo stressful!!!
1. Communication. Pennymac seriously lacked communication. There was a 3 week period where I did not hear from my loan officer or loan processor regarding my closing disclosures. 2. Pennymac missed 2 of my closing dates. 3. Incorrect closing disclosures multiple times
It was exactly what i wanted and expected and more.. every email was answered quick and if there was a mistake it was fixed fast! Would definitely recommend and won’t be going anywhere else!
