Nothing Hermes did. I believe underwriting took too long. And their was one error in our escrow for property taxes. But Hermes is thoughtful and returned every call.
Easy, clear communication and relatively quick process considering COVID
Sarah was pleasant, prompt and helpful throughout the loan process. She worked with the insurance agent to resolve a question very nicely and amicably. The best loan experience so far, with timely communication, pleasant conversations, and prompt resolution of questions.
This entire process was very easy and professional - these professionals know their business. I would highly recommend them to friends and family if the opportunity very arises. Its great to work with people who follow-thru and treat you like they really care about you and your business . . a rare experience these days!

More frequent communication during process.
My confirmed signing agent bailed at the last moment forcing me to miss closing by month end. Although we rescheduled one business day later, it forced me to pay another month of interest. Other than that snafu to no fault of mine, the overall experience was good.
Anna was great! We probably could have used more up front information on what to expect, because we definitely started to panic towards the end as our situation turned out to be unique in a couple of ways. Some of the expectations of documentation were a bit unreasonable, as they proved to be a huge burden, but overall we closed on time and with a more or less normal amount of stress.
