I felt high anxiety during the entire process as it was impossible to communicate with my loan officer. Our m.a.c. team coordinator was responsive but she could only do so much. I do understand there were limitations due to Covid. I was particularly unsatisfied with our pay offs. They were never updated, and therefore inaccurate. I will say that your online system worked very well, unless you had a question. Then it was impossible to speak to someone.
Title company was negligent in identifying who needed to sign. Incorrectly identified a line of credit that was not associated with this property. Failed to mail closing documents to the notary, but instead sent them to the property. All this resulted in the closing being delayed and rescheduled 3 times. We still have not closed when we should have 3 weeks ago. Very frustrated with the closing process. The initial part of the process was fine.
There was a significant amount of verbal information that did not equate to written estimates from the PennyMac team. PennyMac is fortunate that we decided to stay the course and complete our refinance with them. We literally suffered significant and real anxiety due to several mistakes and miscommunications from our processing team. How much easier could PennyMac have had it with a customer than with us? Excellent credit, existing customer? Mona Gleghorn saved this deal. Wouldn't do it again.
Michael Kramer was extremely unresponsive during the process. He only responded when he needed something. It was so frustrating not knowing what was happening to our refinance. Whenever I called him he rarely ever called back. I'm so happy that Nathan took over. Nathan was very responsive, he called me to keep me updated at lest once a week. And whenever I called him he called back with the hour. If it was not for Nathan, we would still be waiting.
