Had to nothing but answer questions. Was good.
I work in a place where I don't always have my cell phone and asked to be have communications through email. Despite this, I kept receiving phone calls instead of email to discuss my loan.
Nathan always answered any questions I had promptly during the process and made it more clear to me when he would explain it. I liked that I could summit any forms online in their portal. My experience was great during the process and would highly recommend PennyMac to anyone looking for a quick process and best interest rates. The process was too long. I understand that the company was very busy, but there were unexplained delays and occasional miscommunications. In the end, all’s we’ll that ends well. Thanks.
Penny Mac loan officers were very professional and take the required time to answer your questions. They do not throw a bunch of information at you and leave you wondering what was said. They are a good company in my experience to deal with.
Despite some minor confusion with requesting some documents multiple times, the entire process went fairly smooth. Any questions I had or any time I requested an update outside of the expected update timeframes were answered within one or two business days. I am glad to have worked with PennyMac again!
The loan process was smoothest I have ever experienced. Time from start to finish was better than expected. The PennyMac team was great.
Communication is lacking. It's impossible to call and get someone on the phone who can answer questions and provide an update. Once my loan application was established, anytime I called I was automatically sent to my loan processor who never answered her phone and returned my voicemails 1-2 days later. When I did get her on the phone, she did answer all my questions and provided me with accurate information. She was out of the office for over a week and I was not able to talk with anyone.
