Huge Failure In Communication! The day we are supposed to close we could not get in touch with anyone that could get us any real information at PennyMac. Getting ghosted from your loan provider on the day of closing was VERY UNPLEASANT! Benjamin failed profusely and should be fired! Our loan ended up having to get directed to Lara Leighton, VP of Retail Operations. She was very pleasant to deal with even with a bit of confusion through automated emails, we were happy with her service provided.
COMMUNICATION. The day of closing, we were notified Title did not have any documents and we would be unable to close. After countless emails and phone calls, we received an email back at 5:30 in the evening. We were able to get into contact with Pia Collins. She was helpful and assured us that she would get in contact with Lara to see how she could help. Two days after our closing we actually closed with no communication from Ben. Our homeowners insurance company also said he was an jerk to her

Where to start. PennyMac is an organization that should have their license revoked by the US Government. They asked me to submit the same documentation 5 times on a refinance of a house that they already serviced the loan for. In addition the documents had incorrect information on them and included the loan officer who quit their company half way through the process. The entire process took 6 months to close and I had to call over 50 times. They make Comcast look good.
Caroly Monson is a great loan officer she is the best quick to respond... I would recommend her thanks Carolyn for all your hard work.🙂🙂🙂🙂
Service was great
This is no way reflects the service I received from Marcia Wiggins. She went up and beyond!!! The closing was delayed 6 times. It was a fiasco. Marcia did her best to communicate with me and was beyond what was expected. However, the closing company delayed and continued to request information that was previously supplied. They were very unprofessional not showing up for the first closing date and then a list of other issues until we finally closed 23 days later than originally requested.
Being a current PennyMac customer and a promise from them of a quick and simple process was the reason why I chose to stay with PennyMac. I apply for the refinancing of my home and at the end of a painful and complete opposite of what I was promised, I can truly say I regret going through this process with PennyMac. It sucks that I am limited on the length of my post but if I could write everything that I went through I would have American's new #1 best-selling book. Think twice about PennyMac!
