my loan officer was deceitful and tried to take advantage of me. We had a conversation and agreed on one thing but then what we had agreed on was not what was presented to me. I understand that miscommunications happen but she then made up stories

Absolutely agree. However? I spent 16 years overseas and 15 years with the Union Pacific Railroad. Clunky is normal. It's how Clunky gets resolved that matters. It never slowed down the process and the Loan came through early, so .. Win - Win.
My Loan Officer was great during the whole process.
