Everything went really well with my refinance. There was a little confusion regarding some documents and whether they were needed or not but other than that it all went smooth. During such a huge refinance boom it’s to be expected that there might be a snag or two but the loan closed on time so that’s all that really matters. I was an escrow closer for 15 years so I’m familiar with the process but I think if I was inexperienced I might have needed a little more communication.
The process just took too long and the agent didn't communicate often with me. But Overall it got done.
Great job overall, a couple name misspellings on closing documents, but otherwise flawless.
Our documents were not ready for the notary on our expected closing date. Additionally, the multiple requests for documents after we had already sent them in were sometimes frustrating. More streamlined communication between parties handling the loan would have made things go more smoothly. However, Icenia Davis was incredible - any time I brought any issue to her attention, she resolved it promptly.
The whole process was easy and simple!!

I’m glad that I did my refinance with Penny Mac, Because everting was more easy, than any other different bank.
I recently had som credit report issues and no one would even communicate with me. Penny MAC just walked right through the entire process. No problems at all.
