PennyMac made the entire process easy from start to finish. Once the process was underway and Edna was assigned to help us, she was fantastic about checking in weekly and answering any questions I had as well as let us know where we were in the process. Edna was always so professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. She is awesome and so is PennyMac!
Not having to call almost everyday for 2 months to follow up on what was supposed a 3 week process. Unfortunately, the amount of follow up I had to do was actually worse than getting my original mortgage. I thought using my current lender PennyMac the refinancing process would have been easy, OMG it truly was a disappointing experience all around. I am and have been very pleased with the service I've received from PennyMac these past 4 years though!
They pulled my credit report two times which impacted my score. The claim was my social security was incorrect. They had the opportunity to double check that before pulling my credit the first time. I was asked to submit the same documents more than one times which is very unusual to me.
This was a very pleasant experience. It was quick, accurate, and I literally had no questions because they were answered before I could ask them. Thank you for such a professional, warm and pleasant experience.
