Ms. Lori Gibson provided excellent customer service consistent with my previous experience with PennyMac. However, the loan officer, Ms. Vargas, did not meet my expectations. It was very difficult for me to reach her. It was equally difficult for my realtor and the local title office to contact her. This is my third home purchased with PennyMac and I can say Ms. Vargas is the worst loan officer i have had to deal with. My experience would have been much better with a different loan officer.
Buying a home can be a very stressful process and having an experienced, technologically advanced mortgage company through the process makes the home buying experience that much less stressful. I would highly recommended going with pennymac!

The direct number of contacting the assigned specialist Jericha works really great, including email exchanges of correspondences greatly help and the notary during closing, all made the whole process excellent. Thanks and keep up the great job!

Although we didn’t close on the appointed time and date, PennyMac made up for it in a very generous way. Which left us surprised, pleased & very happy.
I had 2 versions of loan estimates, followed by 2 loan disclosures and the closing docs that I signed still had different numbers. A few days after closing I received yet another loan summary with a different total because the impound account was removed. I had to reconcile the numbers against my own spreadsheet each time, wasting hours of my time. I sent several emails with questions about the changes but never heard back.
