I waited to re- fi with pennymac because i trust them - my house means everything to me and i didn't want to take a chance at losing it to save a buck!
Everything was fine until I scheduled my closing, which is when things went downhill. I needed to reschedule my closing, so I emailed & left Christopher a message, but he didn’t respond. I called back a week later & got him on the phone. He was very short with me during that call. I was not sent closing documents ahead of time. When the notary arrived, I discovered that my loan amount had been increased without my authorization. An updated payoff was never pulled after my 9/1 payment.
The loan structuring and responsiveness of representatives made buying a home less stressful.
Daniel was a big help! He kept me in the loop throughout the process. I did not have to produce much in the way of documentation since PennyMac was already my Mortgage service company. It was easy and fast.
Super fast process. Richard was easily accessible whenever I had a question.
Team was outstanding. Make the process quick and painless!!!
Payment after refi did not match what Barbara told me it would be. That was the only disappointing part. She was great , polite, and informative.
