The whole experience was great and Lauren made it easy.
We didn’t feel that Caprecia was a great communicator. The feeling in her communication with us was like calls were a formality and she was just checking the box. We didn’t feel like our questions were answered adequately and timely. We felt Caprecia talked down to us at different times. The initial loan agent was great to work with and the closing notary was pleasant, but the in-between was painful and we’re glad it’s done. We’d normally recommend PennyMac, but the MacTeam needs attention.
Once direct phone communication with Blen was open after months the process was better. Communication with originator Joseph was awful, not accurate, no communication so many times, inaccurate communication plain False communication. Blen did help clear up some of this information once we spoke to her in the phone.

In regards to Marques, there was a difference between the amount on the closing costs he sent to me vs. What actually happened. I emailed him twice with no response. Not a big deal, I just wanted to understand. The original loan officer, Carol Dion was excellent! She made it quick and easy. I understand Covid makes it difficult, but I was just frustrated 😞
I had a hard time getting in touch with anyone to ask questions. There was no representation at the closing. Only a notary that would not answer any questions we had. I didn’t feel comfortable and confident during the closing because of this.
