I felt like a good bit of stalling was going on. We had to ask for the disclosure document (72 hour rescission), was requested to provide info that was already sent with a response of "oh, here it is," and being told one day that the information provided was acceptable, only to be told the next day it wasn't. The pre-qual part was great; the qualification part was not so much.

Let's put it this way, the process was so screwed up that my rate lock-in expired... off by months. I paid over $5k in points and I didn't get as low a rate as being advertised at the current time. I had three different loan process handlers. I could go on. This is not to disparage Marques, the problem is clearly with PennyMac.
