The experience with the PennyMac team was great but the closing attorney was very unprofessional, late, rude, condescending and manipulative.

This is limited to 500 words. Can’t fit all the crap that happened in 500 words. Just typed out an entire paragraph for nothing. Although, that pretty much sums up how this entire loan process has gone. I’m done with PennyMac.

Communication through the portal is not very clear. I’d have to check daily to see if anything was needed. I didn’t get email or phone call about uploading something unless I had not gone in to check. Had to upload documents multiple times. My agent asked me to send sensitive documents to her by gmail account. Communicating through the phone was annoying because there was a huge delay once something was said. My loan kept changing even up to the day I signed documents.

I closed faster than estimated. My loan officer was available by phone or email when needed. I enjoyed having the tool online to follow along with the step my loan was on.
