There were several times that I was asked for documents that have already been uploaded to the portal. I was also asked for my pay stub several times, but had explained via email and over the phone that I only get paid/receive a pay stub once and month. I gave the specific date that my pay stub would be available and uploaded a copy of my pay stub on that date. I sent an email saying that I had uploaded needed pay stub. A week later I received a call asking about the pay stub.

It took over two months from start to finish. I did understand that because of the COVID and volume of refinancing going on but it was a little disappointing.

Easy to sign documents electronically and to schedule a signing with notary.

This was so easy! I called got a better rate than I had before and refinanced within a month from my first call. If you already have a loan with PennyMac you should at least check to see how much money you can save every month.

It took almost 2 months to underwrite my loan. It appeared there were communication gaps between loan originator underwriter. The underwriter was erroneously waiting for an appraisal doc when in actuality that requirement had been waived .
