Penny Mac was willing to match competitor interest rates, which was great. The initial person I talked to however, told me one thing which turned out to be inaccurate and a bit frustrating later in the process. I also was not informed of certain information I needed at closing which made that process take a bit longer while a scrambled to find what was needed. Overall though, Penny Mac worked out a good interest rate and a relatively quick time from from application to closing.
Clear information on mortgage insurance and other fees.
From the first phone call about refinancing to the signing, this was by far the best mortgage experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend PennyMac to anyone needing a mortgage.
