The whole process from beginning to end was smooth.
Very easy to initiate the refi process, and from there it was virtually “automatic”. Yamila was very good in communicating, and ensuring the process remained on track. I did not recall hearing I needed two forms of ID to close (it would be a good idea to include the “one from column A, and one from column B” ID criteria- who’d of thought a military retiree ID and a drivers license were insufficient?).
Everyone on the Penny Mac team was so kind, patient, and easy to work with. It was such an easy process.
I have to say the experience with PennyMac was phenomenal. Beginning of the year I started the refinancing process with Loandepot and it was a nightmare as they kept on asking the same documents over and over. I got a offer from PennyMac where I contacted Amir Rizvi great outstanding customer service experience he offered me a stunning rate and amazing closing cost from there I was taken care of Aizen Malki exceptional and the Mac team. I dropped loan depot and continued with PennyMac.
The first person I dealt with, Gary Darden, was wonderful. In fact, I would email throughout the whole process to get answers I needed. He’s the only person at Penn MAC that I could to return any email to me. Joseph Kreleis wouldn’t return an email or answer any questions at all. Ever. So I would give Mr Darden a 10 and Me Kreleis 0 on a rating scale.
Deion was great. He got back to me in a timely manner whenever I had a question. Thank you Deion!
Arin our loan officer was great. Beth Bewen was very pleasant on the phone. However, she was not responsive to numerous outreach attempts throughtout the process. Beth told us she would put us in touch with her manager before she left on vacation (which was a few days before we were scheduled to close). She did not do that and I had to reach out to Arin and to customer service to try to get support at the last minute. Jamie (James) Wright stepped in to help and was fantastic.
My refi with Robert exceeded my expectations. The entire process was handled in a professional manner. Robert made sure that I understood what was happening throughout the entire time. I honestly didn't expect this loan to go through as fast as it did. I'd certainly recommend Robert to anyone that is requesting mortgage services through PennyMac.
I received quick responses from all who were involved and it was an easy process to accomplish.
