I honestly think that my issues only had to due with shortfalls that were no ones fault. They were due to limitations based on the Corona Virus.
Closing was not within timeframe originally communicated. Over 2 months start to finish.
Great experience! Everything was done by phone and email. Made it so much easier especially during these difficult times.
Overall my experience refinancing with PennyMac was ok. The main piece of information that would have been nice to have from the loan application process was the fact that if I wanted to refinance without an escrow account, I would have had to pay my taxes and insurance during the loan application process. I was told that I could refinance without an escrow account, as I clearly stated was my intent, and that I wouldn't have to pay for insurance early (I didn't ask about property tax payment).
We are so happy with PennyMac and their representatives. When it came to deciding about a refinance we would not have gone with another lender due to our past experience with PennyMac and now with our current experience. We love the fact that they will "always" maintain our loan and this process was so easy that it just confirmed our satisfaction. We would recommend PennyMac to everyone.

The experience with Yamilia Jaimes was great, but over all the rest was just ok. We did not close as early as we were initially told, we were told there would be no money needed as closing, which was not the case at first, and this created another set back. But Yamilia kept us updated and fixed the errors for us as quickly as she could.
Process was explained to my level of understanding.
Continued informative communication during the entire loan refinancing process and prompt response to our inquiries.
