Hi there, My first loan processor stopped communicating with me completely. I had to continuously call the national number to get through to someone, the wait times were insane. Trying to find someone to talk to was so hard. I was then handed down to another loan processor. She did not communicate with me about additional document(s) that were needed. I called on a Thursday (When closing was on Monday) and it sounded as if she didn't even know we were closing in 3 days. Had to file extension.

Just that we didn't get the signing documents in advance of the actual signing of the closing date so we can go over them.
PennyMac staff made our refinance process easy and painless. You kept the documentation required down to a sensible minimum, which we really appreciate. Communication was timely and accurate. When we had a question or didn't understand something in the process, your staff (including Marcia Wiggins and Dino Rousseve) responded quickly and spent the time with us to make sure we understood fully. My loan officer was awesome but I was never able to reach my loan processor. The random processors I did talk to were very helpful. In the last 3-4 weeks of my refi every time I would call the given phone number I would get directed to Amy Walker's voice mail or get a message the the person at extension 4125 was not available. Not once did I ever receive an email or phone call response to a question I had from my assigned loan processor.
