The closing took longer time than expected. I was surprised of the closing cost to be so high.

Norma was great. I was a little frustrated with last-minute requests for duplicate documentation. The loan process took far longer than anticipated. What I don't understand is how you can justify creating business, but not staffing for it. Time and time again, I was told of "long delays" due to "high demand." Well, look, if you're going to create "high demand" create staffing. Feels irresponsible. Don't you think?

We began our refinance process with Penny Mac on 6/4/2020, we closed on 7/22/2020. The experience from beginning consultation online, to the Notary coming to our home for closing documents was excellent. Rick and Myesha from Penny Mac, Jana our Notary were all wonderful. To clarify we were Penny Mac customers with our original loan, but a refinance in less than 6 weeks and during this "pandemic" was awesome. Pleased to remain a Penny Mac customer!
