Penny Mac came in with a rate that was untouchable way out in front of other lenders (the rates recently came down where a couple lenders were completive with Penny Mac). The loan agents were fairly well accessible. Easier to get a hold of than a lot of other lenders. While there was a glitch at closing I really appreciate the fact that Penny Mac went out of their way to rectify it in my favor. To me that is an indicator of a real professional operation that values my business. Well done!

I do understand that this was most likely because of everyone being at home and communication systems breaking down, but it took 3 attempts at signing closing documents because it was wrong in different ways every time. Eventually, 3 months later we got it done. I'm happy now :) I tried to say everything that happened, but they only allowed 500 characters. All in all Pennymac is a great mortgage co. I would recommend and use them again.

Better communication, knowing what was needed ahead of time instead of last minute, and not having to resend documents multiple times because Vonnye couldn't keep track of them. We would ask questions about what we needed, and she would tell one thing and then we would find out later that we really needed to have that document. It would have been much easier to have been told to have everything ahead of time. Even our realtor had problems with not getting any communication back from Vonnye.
