We were originally supposed to close a few weeks ago however, we were informed that the proper documents were not drawn up correctly. Therefore, we were unable to close on our original date which I had to request a day off of work for. The original closing payment was supposed to be $997.93 but since we had to reschedule our closing date, the closing cost increased to $1145 and some change; an additional $145. This inconvenience was at no fault of our own and am requesting compensation.
Frank Morales made my loan refinance experience very pleasant. He kept me informed and guided me through out the process. I will definitely recommend Penny Mac to my friends and family.

Time lines were not met. My loan officer used someone else’s SSN to lock in my APR. My closing date was changed without my knowledge. I had to send documents multiple times. The exchange from my loan officer to the “Mac team” was horrible. I felt like I started over with a new person. Nobody answers the phone when I called. I felt like there was no sense of urgency with my loan. I felt like “ number” to them instead of a person.
Absolutely an awesome experience for the whole handling of my Loa process!!! I’ll most definitely recommend PennyMac to others!!!
This process took a very long time to refinance my house but once done, the paperwork was very smooth. Thanks to Ammie for taking the time to explain the papers I needed it went fine from then on.

Very smooth refinance
Clinton was very polite and handled business very professionally. He was courteous and very well mannered. My issue throughout the whole process was that nobody replied to any of my emails asking questions during the refi process nor after complete, not ONCE! I emailed several times following up and asking questions and not one response, ever. Also did not receive one confirmation for anything that I submitted. Very poor service overall for the fees I was charged. Not satisfied.
