The overall experience was smooth and great! The only problem was with the closing process, even though I signed the paperwork on the assigned day it took more than two weeks to close. The reason I was given was that I had not signed my closing documents when in fact I had.

The communication on Blen’s part was very poor. I received a closing disclosure on the 24th indicating a closing date of 7/1/20. The closing was always scheduled for 6/26 and unbeknownst to me it gets changed without even notification to me. If it wasn’t for the efforts of Kristen Griffin and Teresa Henry my closing would not have happened on the 26th which would have created a huge financial impacts for myself and the sellers. Kristen did a fantastic job!

Better communication and return calls/emails. I spoke to at least 8 agents when I called in for help. I only spoke with Maranda and that was just before my closing. Also, I felt PennyMac did not take my protest that my appraisal was incorrect. There was a photo included in the appraisal and was not of my home. I reported that on 10 June. No one followed up to correct it. That almost caused the closing date to push into July. The agents stated to me “ that will not impact the appraisal value”.
