It was easy, but my husband had. A hard time getting a hold of her for questions.
Ammie mac and others from loan processing were short , rude and terse in their communication. I only came to you because you are my loan holder. I’ve not been happy with the attitude of some . Angey Wu was the sweetest and most helpful person and the saving grace for my experience. You would go far learning from her level of customer service. Five stars plus for Angey Wu!
I had tons of issues with the whole process. Not sure if Covid19 had something to do with it. I could NEVER call and get a hold of anybody, I switched loan agent mid process without any notification, I had to instruct the loan person Shannon on what was very clearly wrong with the closing statement, even though I had that same discussion before with Afton Lambert. It was messy, unorganized, and stressful but I gave a 3 rating because the end product was what I expected.
They were very accommodating in finding the right loan for our situation.
I felt the communication was spotty. I called PennyMac, and found out more documents were needed. There was also a miscommunication as to what documents were required (I heard seller agreement, and repeated it back to the person to whom I was speaking, found out later it was solar agreement.)

Painless and professional service!
Website for uploading docs not user friendly. Asked for information we did not need to submit. Was told incorrect amount to bring to closing. Amount was actually under $1500. I was given a number over $1500 and had to make a unnecessary trip to the bank for a check when I could have used a personal check. Made more difficult at this time with drive-thru access only at the bank. Closer took a 10 minute personal call in the middle of presenting our documents for signing. Overall, good service.
My loan officer Xaver Johnson made a mistake during our original closing on June 22 which caused a problem with payoff with my prior loan with PennyMac. After closing, I was told not to pay July or August and the new loans payments would begin in September. I was not notified of PennyMac’s mistake and was late on July’s payment for the first time in my life. The loan officer made several more mistakes and messed up my finances. I refused to pay the late payments and the experience was awful.
