Assigning one person to the loan instead of having the customer talk to a different person each time they call. Have the person(s) assigned to the loan answer emails and return phone calls. We ended up having to get managers involved multiple times to get answers to any questions. The loan/closing expectations and process was not explained until 2 days prior to expected closing. The key to better experience would be communication. The customer should not have to call multiple times a day.
This was the worst loan experience we have ever had. We were unable to reach our Rep EVERY timec called and we did not receive calls back most times or even emails most of the times we had questions. Requests for documents were not clear so we kept sending the same documents not understanding why they kept being requested. It was all very unpleasant.
Anna was phenomenal. It’s because of her and the rest of the team that I would recommend penny Mac to other friends and family.

I do not receive any communication from Jordan Smith. And I had to continually reach out for loan status and updates.
Being an existing customer, I didn’t expect the closing to take over 2 months. I had to provide repeat documents due to the time it took.
