This was by far the easiest and most convenient process for refinancing we have experienced. The entire team was professional and the customer service was the best. Thank you Penny Mac for your professionalism and your willingness go the extra mile for your customers.
Time it took from providing documents to closing seemed too long for simple IRRL? Service that did closing missed appointment and we had to move it to afternoon of same day. They blamed delay on getting documents late and printer issues. Other than those two issues process was smooth.
Everyone was polite, professional, and communicative, which is all one can expect of quality customer service!
Jason was informative and straight forward. He kept me apprised of the whole process and was excellent to work with.
I expected a lower mortgage interest rate. My first name was spelt incorrectly on nearly all the closing documents. I expected a shorter closing time.
I thought refinancing would be a complete nightmare - it wasn’t!
From start to closing it took about a month longer then I expected. The communication during that month was lacking. I believe it was sent for final aporoval amd it took a very long time.
