The process was smooth as well as the PennyMac team, Tahirah and Nathan, were excellent throughout my refinancing, making my experience much less stressful than I thought it was going to be. Give them both raises!
The process went smoothly, we were informed about what we needed to do promptly and Jason Hord was very good at letting us know what we needed to do. The notary public was prompt, friendly and helpful, very well prepared. Overall the process couldn’t have been easier.
PennyMac, Elizabeth Estrada and team were great. The Title Company was very poor on delivery and scheduling. They missed scheduled appointments. They would call after the scheduled time to reschedule. The closer was rude and very pushy. Did not have or offer to wear groves or mask. During the final closing he keeps licking his fingers to flip the paper before giving it to us to sign. The delay in signing adds cost to the loan in the amount of the final check, to us, , at closing day.
At the very beginning TJ Anderson spent time with me and setup everything that was needed for the process in one day. The rest was to send additional documents. Ms Ashly was communicating to me all that was needed, immediately answering all my questions, clearly explained what documents were needed. It was especially important at the time where all people work from home and are hard to reach.
