I was told I would receive a check the following Tuesday it's now been over a week still nothing. Also the check is going to be $1000 difference according to closing documents. It would be nice to communicate with the loan officer and not given a generic number. I understand that is penny mac's fault and not the loan officer. My loan changed mutliple times. And closing took over 2 months.

Everything went like it should have. The application and approval process was very easy. I used PennyMac on a referral from a friend after the first lender I tried to use gave me a lot of grief about trying to get a VA loan and the second lender I contacted never even called me back.

Easy process since I was an existing customer. Please note that Liem was an extraordinary loan officer, Communicating, following up on-time etc. My dis-satisfaction is the lack of clarity upfront that I had to pay points for the lower interest rate when the market rate was already low.
