Talking with other companies, no one could match the rate we got from Penny Mac. The loan officer was very helpful, and the team was amazing even through the covid outbreak. Great job!
I wish that the documents that were needed we’re communicated with a longer time frame. Paperwork requested was need with a two day turn over. Requested very close to closing instead of at the beginning with the rest of the paperwork.

I was a bit hesitant to refinance with PennyMac based on a few other reviews. After the process has been completed I can tell you that from start to finish the experience has been nothing but outstanding and pleasant. The team I worked with was awesome. Sara and Tiffany explained and answered every question I had in a timely manner. The few times I called and got someone else they too were knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I would recommend PennyMac without hesitation to anyone .
It was difficult to communicate with my loan officer. I didn’t have a direct phone number or email address, and I only received a response after several emails and several days, and if I missed a call because I was working, I couldn’t call back.
Penny Mac’s VA loan refinance program is amazing! The process was very easy and stress-free. My loan agent (Julian) was very responsive to my inquiries and always kept me updated on the process. Even in the midst of the ongoing health pandemic, Penny Mac processed my refinance application in a timely manner. The closing agent came directly to my home to facilitate the signing. Most importantly, Penny Mac allowed my wife and I to refinance to a rate that was almost a full percentage point lower.
