GREAT COMMUNICATION, GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT RESULTS
Maybe it was due to covid. But asked several times about closing costs. They never were answered till the very end when the initial loan officer called me because I wasn't going to go thru w the refinance. A lot was a total cluster f. Also over and over I was asked for a termite inspection that was told needed, then not needed. Then needed then I just ignored it and magically the loan was done. Most emails weren't answered or answered days later.
I wanted to pay the homeowners insurance and prepaid interest up front. I communicated that desire to both the loan officer and processor and they FAILED to make that happen, they were included in the loan. Calls weren't returned as promised.
The refinance from start to finish was seamless, even during a time of global uncertainty. Xavier Johnson was my main contact throughout the loan process and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He communicated with me consistently on the status of my loan, walked me through certain steps in the process, and was very attentive and responsive to any questions I had. My experience with Pennymac has always been great, and Xavier Johnson continues to add to that greatness. TY!

Our loan officer, Elizabeth E. was very knowledgeable, professional, concise and helpful. We appreciate her guiding us through the refinancing process. it was really effortless. The closing date and time happened just as she said and went very smoothly. All documents were in order. It was a pleasure working with her.
Numerous requests for correct revised closing documents were delayed and final documents received on closing date were still diferent than the ones I had received just the day before. Tried to get documents corrected the week before closing and encountered many unreturned phone calls and e-mails. Spoke with several other reps as the assigned co-ordinator was never available to speak with me when I called her. Many calls to the toll free number had wait times of over 15 mins to get a rep.

PennyMac made this a smooth process. There was a little confusion on exact tests that needed to be done to support a VA loan but the PennyMac team helped me get through that. Thank you all.
