Nancy was great at her job although the process in the beginning lacked in that the initial loan officer Was giving different figures. Expectations of money out of pocket kept surfacing when this was never discussed. The loan was postponed for 2 months because of the discrepancies of funds. When it came to signing, the paperwork was wrong 2x which delayed the process 3 weeks.

The loan refi process kept me informed as needed and as time passed by. I knew what was expected and where the process was at any given moment.

I literally was able to finally close and sign papers on the 4th scheduled close. The 1st 3 times paperwork was wrong. And actually the paperwork corrections needed made between the 1st and 2nd attempt to close were never made at all. On the 3rd attempt to close Tomeka calls me 20 minutes before close to ask how it went. Tomeka is very UNPROFESSIONAL and disorganized. It took almost 4 months instead of the 30-45 days I was told. The problems started before the virus lock down. So no excuse there

Ari'ele Smith had to ask me several times to go over/sign paperwork. I did not get to it right away because I work 14hour shifts, and sometimes several days in a row. Even though she had to ask me several times, she was polite, considerate of my busy schedule, and provided me with the necessary links to read and sign the needed paperwork. I really appreciate Ari'ele's patience with me.

Consistent communication. We often had to chase Jacob for responses to questions or loop other people in from PennyMac. We had critical questions at the point of close and he just stopped responding. We actually never heard back from him on those questions, but called into PennyMac and found out from one of the associates that there was information Jacob was meant to share, but never did. Will (Edward), who we initially worked with to start the refinance process was great and very helpful.

The whole process is very easy with PennyMac. Due to the coronavirus it took longer than expected but still very pleased with the customer service this company provides.
